My name is Cathie, I am the photographer here at Phunkey Photos. I have a Certificate in Advanced Digital Photography and experience working with clients through from concept to print. I have worked as a Photo-lab Technician and have been shooting for several years.

I love design, photography, people and life. I have a passion for capturing those magical moments, charismatic characters and unbreakable bonds.

I was born in England and grew up near Chester until I moved to New Zealand at 12. I love to travel, explore new places/ideas and meet new people. I want to go everywhere and do everything!

I have always been under the spell of the camera, but it was at college that I became obsessed. I started to take portraits of various family members, but found that portraits aren't enough. What I wanted, what I needed, was to capture the moment, the character, the relationship, in an image.
