The Littlest Heroes Project.

I have seen the above video many times now, and every time I find myself sitting at my computer with tears streaming down my face.

These children and their families are amazing. True soldiers and heroes in my eyes, having seen both my parents go through grueling cancer treatments I cannot begin to imagine how I would cope if I had to watch my beautiful little boy bear the weight of something similar.

The Littlest Heroes Project is a non-profit based organization founded in January 2008, made up of professional photographers worldwide that provide free photography sessions to our Littlest Heroes. This is our way of giving back and taking a stand for these children who sometimes feel forgotten because of their illnesses. We are here to let them know that they are heroes to many, and to share their inspirational stories and photos with the world.

If you have a child, or know a child, who suffers from any type of serious illness or life altering disability, or you know a family that has recently (within the last three years) lost a child due to a serious accident or illness, we are here to help.

Phunkey Photos has affiliated with The Littlest Heroes Project to provide you with a complimentary photo session for your little hero. The whole family - super siblings, brave parents, and best friends are welcome to participate in the session as well.
